Born and raised in Syracuse, Tim is a lifelong goalkeeper who first stepped into the position at age eleven, and never turned back. He played three years of varsity soccer for Bishop Ludden, and played soccer at the collegiate level for Onondaga Community College. Tim remembers how frustrating it was to be a goalkeeper at the club and high school level, where most coaches have only a limited knowledge on how to develop a goalkeeper’s skill set. He came to coach the Sounders with the goal of providing young goalkeepers with position specific training from someone who truly knows what it means to play the position.
